As of March 20, 2020, our family made the difficult decision to temporarily cease our resort operations until at least May 1, 2020. We feel this brief closure is in the best interest of our entire community and will help keep people healthy and safe in these difficult and changing times and, also, follows guidance and direction from our local, state and national officials. Of course, this closure is temporary and when the time is right (and it will be again), we will be ready to help you have your best vacation ever at Kavanaugh’s Resort. We look forward to welcoming you back for a wonderful summer season at our resort. We, also, encourage you to take this time to plan that summer and fall getaway to come up North and enjoy the beauty of the Brainerd Lakes Area, when we are once again able to get out and enjoy our amazing state. Remember, whatever getaway you plan when things get better, try to make it a Minnesota getaway because it will make a difference to all Minnesota businesses!
We will continue to provide information and updates regarding our resumption of service, as it becomes available, and look forward to welcoming all of you back to make memories at Kavanaugh’s once again.
We would, also, like to honor the heroic work of the medical community, first responders, and everyone on the front lines in this great battle. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the COVID-19 virus.
